Pyrford is a village in Surrey, England not far from the towns of Woking and Guildford on the outskirts of London. The name Pyrford is derived from the saxon Pyrianforde which means “the ford by the pear tree”.

Pyrford Village Memorial Hall was built in 1921 to commemorate the people of Pyrford who died during the Great War (1914-1918) . The Pyrford Social Club was founded in 1900’s

Today the Pyrford Social Club proudly brings the community together. It runs many club and social events throughout the year. The Clubhouse has a communal lounge with wide TV screens to enjoy Sporting occasions. The bar area is cosy, serves bar snacks, and is linked to an activity area - which has 3 dart boards and a Pool table.
